February 2022 Reading Challenge: Read or Listen to a Book on Libby

Our 2022 Reading Challenge is up and running, and we’ve kept it really simple (you can read the details of 2022’s Reading Challenge HERE). February’s challenge is simple: Read or listen to a book on the Libby App.

Not sure what the Libby app is? The Libby app allows you to borrow ebooks and audiobooks, to enjoy on your smartphone or tablet. Libby is free with your library card, and there are over 49, 000 titles available to borrow. With no late fees and automatic returns, borrowing books have never been easier.

BOOKS AVAILABLE TO READ NOW ON LIBBY

I am not going to write a post highlighting books to read on Libby, because what’s available right now may not be in a few hours. Instead, I’m going to show you how to find titles that are available now on the Libby app:

1) Open the Libby app on your device, or visit libbyapp.com to read or listen on a web browser.

2) In the menu ribbon running along the bottom of the app (or the bottom of your screen if using a computer), click on the second icon in from the left hand side (the little building). This will open up the eLibraries Manitoba page.

3) At the top of the eLibraries Manitoba page, click on the words “available now 52k”, located right under the eLibraries Manitoba logo.

4) Once the “What’s Available” page opens, you can scroll through the available books list to pick your read for the monthly challenge.

Let us know what you choose to read for the February challenge in the comments below.
